Flyer Info / Help

  • Download: You can download and modify these flyers for your own events. Click on a link and save a copy to your hard drive.
  • Portability: The MS-Publisher docs open on PCs only. No Mac. And you must have MS-Publisher software to open those templates.
  • Flyer Size: The restrictions on PDF file size have been relaxed because of the complexity of these newest flyers and the spread of broadband. Still, keep your flyers to 600k or less after PDF conversion for me to load it on the website (see next bullet).
  • Compression: MS-Publisher allows you to Compress your flyer graphics which will reduce the file size sufficiently when converting to PDF.
  • MS-Word: The MS-Word formats are old templates and will not be updated like the MS-Publisher templates. MS-Word was not designed to build complex flyers and editing these can be tricky and time-consuming.
  • PDF Converter: If you have MS-Office 2007 or 2010 there is a superior PDF converter available. 2007 is a free download. The 2010 converter is already part of the Office package. The various free PDF converters are not high quality but may be used.
